Terry McDaniel, operations supervisor for Franklin County Public Water Supply Districts 1 and 3, has been recognized for extraordinary work efforts.

McDaniel is an employee of operations company Alliance Water Resources. He received the company\'s President\'s Award last month from Alliance President Gary Anger during a surprise ceremony.

Local System Manager Bob Hathcock sited McDaniel\'s “can-do attitude, his desire to improve the way things are done and his skill in training new staff” amid recently added responsibilities for the Franklin PWSD #1 system as reasons for the nomination.

The President\'s Award is given in recognition of skilled leadership and job performance above and beyond the call of duty. Recipients must be nominated by a supervisor and selected by a committee of top management in order to receive the award.
