Alliance Water Resources Receives Flag of Freedom Award
Alliance Water Resources, a dedicated participant in the Show-Me Heroes program, received their first Flag of Freedom award this month in recognition for hiring a Missouri Veteran.
The Show-Me Heroes initiative, which was launched in 2010 by Governor Jay Nixon as part of the larger Missouri Works program, was designedto help Missouri Veterans and members of the National Guard and Reserve find jobs when they return home from duty. It also serves as a productive tool for employers, allowing participating companies and organizations to showcase their pledge to help connect Veterans with valuable careers – a central component in restoring Missouri\'s economic prosperity.
