Gary Anger, President and CEO of Alliance Water Resources, is taking part in the Missouri Chamber of Commerce professional development program Leadership Missouri. Anger was chosen to be one of a select group of government and business leaders across the state by a Chamber subcommittee. Leadership experience is the primary factor in participant selection.

The Leadership Missouri curriculum aims to boost participants\' knowledge through a series of two-day programs over the next seven months. Members will travel to locations throughout Missouri to focus on a variety of significant business, government and social issues.

“As a supplier of critical water and wastewater services throughout the state, this program will help me to better understand the challenges facing governmental agencies,” Anger said about the program. After serving for more than twelve years at Alliance in various leadership roles, Anger became President and CEO in January 2004.

Anger earned his bachelors in Nuclear Science from State University of New York—Maritime College, and masters in Civil Engineering from Stanford University. He and his wife Nancy have been Columbia, Mo. residents since 1988.
