Allliance’s philosophy has always been to be a part of our community teams in and around our client cities and districts, especially in times of need. Recently, southwest Missouri was hard hit with snow and ice. In Cape Girardeau, the Alliance water operations team worked with the City’s Public Works Department to help clear the roadways after the storm. At the request of the Public Works Director Tim Gramling, Alliance contrbuted manpower and provided backhoes to aid in clearing intersections. Under the coordiantion of Bob Kutack, Traffic Operations Manager, they also removed all snow and debris from the congested downtown area by loading it into dump trucks to be hauled away. The Alliance crews were recognized by city leaders for contributing over 200 man hours to this recovery effort and for keeping the water operations running smoothly during the cleanup.
